YAHOO E-mail:- Hidden DANGER, ID theft?

www.YAHOO.com, Not Secure at all?

This internet company can evoke various emotional esponses from all the internet users around the world. Because it has been one of the most visited, most used internet websites of all. Yahoo provides almost every thing one needs, from e-mail, dating, bussiness, movies, musics, shopping and just you name it?.

I have been using yahoo since the very early days yahoo was introduced, I have used lots of yahoo services including the yahoo Pc-to Pc or Pc to Phone services, which is one of the latest. After all these years of loyalty to Yahoo, I believe the company is letting us down and betraying the customers by selling personal information to unsolicited companies?. Last couple of years, yahoo's performance and behaviors are strange, inefficient and often without any value to customers, this is one of the internet company you will find it hard to get to someone in the yahoo customer service or in other dept to talk to, as they do not have customer service phone or designated office location, they keep it kind of illusive and deceiving?.

Something is bothering me enormously about the Yahoo company and the way the companies management is handled?. Yahoo thus far a company in it's demise stage, it is a slowely demising company.

It is quite obvious to all of us that yahoo is loosing it's stand
it's quality, it is also loosing it's bussiness. Here is an example how stupid the company's chief's are?: There was an attempt by the microsfot to take over, it is a great offer, very sensible and timely but in this recent effort of the microsoft to take over [Microsoft pursues Yahoo! takeover] [MICROSOFT EYES Yahoo, New York Post] [Microsoft has made an unsolicited $44.6 billion bid for Yahoo] the ridiculous yahoo management and it's chair failed to recognize such a great choice and huge money. This offer would have helped yahoo to come out of miserable management and would have got more than they would chew?.

Lacking a proper management staff and talented people to move the company forward, Yahoo backtracking and failure of this company is visible.

In my own personal experience with one of yahoo products, the yahoo mail, I found out that there is something terrible is happening with yahoo company. The yahoo e-mail has been either sabotaged/compromised or it is in wrong hands, ........how?

Look at the enormous spam, phising and scam e-mail you recieve every single day ( I do not see so many spams in other e-mail addresses from other companies). Initially, I thought this is the norm of the day and time, this is how it is but to my shocking consioussness, the number keep on increasing and it is mostly targeted by intruding an individuals privacy.

There are so many indications that the e-mail id's are sold to third parties or someone stolen all the e-mail id's. How else such targeted e-mails from unknown and unrecognized companies come to your mail box, in a given day......how come so many spams invade your mail box, on top of all these spams, for the first time I had recieved an e-mail from one of my close circles, a well known elderly Buddhist, who will never do such spamming. I recieved this e-mail from exact e-mail ID, no disguise or hidden signs, it is exactly a friends e-mail id and written almost believeable, but to my shock I found out that my friend did not write to me an e-mail during the last couple of weeks???.

The content of the e-mail is about he is travelling and his belongings were stolen?........the message states that he has been to Africa, he was robbed off of money, his cell phone and all his belongings were stolen, and he could not even make a telephone call?. He needs certain amount of money so that he can come back to US and pay me back.

At the outset, the e-mail address is from my very close circles and he is too old and restricted in long distance travelling, it was just impossible for such an event to occur?.

Then how this e-mail originated from my frineds e-mail address, how did this e-mail got into wrong hands? no body else lives with him so there is no chance any one can get his e-mail or misuse it, how did the scammer or fradulent person got hold of this e-mail address?, such questions can haunt the very consioussness.....!?.

..... but why that one e-mail.......just look at the number of spam/scam's I received today alone... and you can make your own judgement about yahoo security?.

Remember, I have the best firewalls, anti-virus, spam protection and besides I am on top of all the internet technology and tools, if this can happen to me, imagine the amount of danger we are facing by using Yahoo or hotmail like e-mails.

these are only a portion of all the spam/scam/unsolicited e-mails I recieved.

More shocking news is that all these spams came to my mail box after I made more than enough precautions such as doing all the filters, blocking, anti virus and all such non-sense, I had also reported to spam controls, to govt agencies and pvt spam blocking sites. Also wrote to yahoo, writing to yahoo is simply a waste of time, there is no body to respond to you and no help will be on the way, if at all, they will ask you to copy and send the whole message and that's it, you will never hear from them!!??.

The bottom line is just RUN.......RUN.......RUN Away from Yahoo and Hotmail......quit Yahoo E-mails, perhaps google e-mail is much better and there are hardly any such unsolicited e-mails. I am quitting Yahoo to the most part, it is a failured company and it is in dangerous hands with respect to e-mail, I am not sure about other products?.
